ABOUT

Brede Started his musical journey in Ranheim Skolesmusikkorps (a Norwegian marching band). He has since found his passion in improvised music and jazz. Having been a student at Sund Folkhighschool´s Jazz program, then later taking a bachelor in Preforming Jazz at NTNU, and studied under players like Mette Rasmussen, Eirik Heggdal, and Håkon Mjåset Johansen. Brede is an upandcomming saxophonist with a lot of projects in a lot of genres. No matter what he is playing he brings his powerfull energy, rawness, and his beautiful melodies with him.

Brede released his first record "fabrikkert virkelighet" under his own name at just the age of 21. The reccord was recorded before he even attended the Jazz program at NTNU.

Brede has in addition to his own projects played with other artists including Cosmic Swing Orcchestra, TRIBINO, Nye Norske Storband, to name a few.
